Emily Ferguson is the franchisee for Jim’s Conveyancing Knox. Emily loves cheese, cider, card games, stand up paddle boarding, and hiking. Emily enjoys attending tree planting days in the local area, and is about to undertake an 11 day trek through the Northern Territory to raise funds for the NPY Indigenous Women’s Council.
Emily has just bought her first property in Frankston North, but her goal is to buy up to 2-3 blocks of land in Lysterfield once the land is released. She specializes in the Knox, Wantirna, Scoresby areas, but more generally the wider Melbourne East and South East areas. Of course Emily would be happy to help out anyone from all over Victoria!
Emily was previously the Jim’s Conveyancing training manager, she was already very much involved in the Jim’s world and it was a very smooth transition over. Emily had a few people, close family members and friends, say to her, ‘why use Jim’s, why don’t you just start Emily’s Conveyancing?’ To Emily it came down to the ongoing support and family vibe that Jim’s Conveyancing and Jim’s Group provide, as a sole business owner and franchisee Emily still has the flexibility to go on a holiday, knowing her fellow franchisees will be there to help out. Furthermore the systems and processes that are available to Jim’s franchisees are a huge benefit in terms of time and professionalism.
The most distinctive difference between conveyancing in the Knox local area, and conveyancing for properties in the city, is the contract review processes. Out of all the contracts Emily has reviewed in recent months, 80% of reviews were for Section 32’s only. It is more common to have an REIV contract attached to a section.32 than it is to have a fellow conveyancer’s contract attached with special conditions.
Jim’s Conveyancing Knox provides conveyancing services in all towns and suburbs in Melbourne and Victoria including: Wantirna, Knoxfield, Scoresby, Ferntree Gully, Rowville, Boronia, Tecoma and Belgrave. We also service all regional towns in Victoria.
